Microsoft Project 2010 Resources and Information
Now that the Advisicon team is back from a productive week learning more about Project 2010, we have a moment to provide more updates based on our notes. There are great web resources available as well, one you should bookmark is the new Microsoft Project 2010 website: http://www.microsoft.com/project/2010/en/us/default.aspx
Additionally, Microsoft announced that they are planning launch events between November 2009 and March 2010, targeting eight cities worldwide. Check the Project website for additional details.
Coordinated release: Indications are that partner and product training services will coincide with the launch of the product. Also, the new product is positioned to release better than Project 2007 as the Project 2010 product launch and enhanced features were based on a number of critical elements, including over three years of data collected from Project 2007 in the form of over 1000 error reports, customer/partner feedback and the Microsoft Project team’s hands-on involvement in the field.
